Grand Opening

Welcome to the first entry in the Ethical Asia blog; the official blog for http://www.ethicalasia.com/.

We sell a range of interesting and authentic products imported into the UK from all over Asia ranging from wallets and bags made from recycled fish feed sacks to authentic Cambodian Krama scarfs. Our aim is to source our stock at fair prices from the network of local manufacturers and distributers, rather than cutting out the supply chain and putting price pressure on the manufacturers. This way we aim to have an overall positive economic and social impact on the countries where we source products, some of which being some of the poorest countries in the world.

We also donate a proportion of profits to Charitable causes in the region and initially we are supporting two foundations, one in Cambodia and another in Thailand.

The majority of our products are sourced directly from local vendors at two markets - in Thailand and Cambodia - that rank among the most creative and vibrant in South East Asia.
